Jörgensmann/Neuser Duospiracy

Theo Jörgensmann and Nikolaus Neuser have been playing and discussing with each other in different contexts for years. In 2022 they played their only duo concert to date, which they are continuing here.

On the soil of fields they have walked, plowed and fertilized together, they always give radical priority to the moment in their music.

Theo Jörgensmann is one of the key innovators and improvisers of his generation. He played a key role in the renaissance of the jazz clarinet in the 1980s and is considered one of the outstanding soloists on this instrument. 

Nikolaus Neuser works primarily in the border areas between jazz, improvised music and interdisciplinary projects. He is one of the most active musicians of the middle generation and a central figure in the Berlin scene.
